sensitive Glans: In some men front portion of the glans is very sensitive & it feels like tickling or painful when touched. This is also one of the important causes for various kinds of sexual dysfunctions. Sensitivity like this is not unusual but patient do not understand its significance thus they do not consult any doctor before.

In normal males glans penis touch should not be uncomfortable thus a super sensitive glans is abnormal. The corona (i.e. proximal elevated portion) of the glans contains scattered free nerve endings, genital end bulbs, and Pacinian corpuscles, which transmit sensations of pain and deep pressure.

DIAGNOSIS OF CAUSE OF Sensitive Glans PROBLEM
First step in proper treatment of sensitive glans penis is accurate diagnosis of cause of his problem. So we first try to find out cause. We take detailed history, thorough sex counseling and physical examination. After that depending on likelihood of particular, cause relevant tests are done at our centre. DETAILED HISTORY
Onset: Sudden/gradual, Response to previous therapy, Libido, Stress (physical or mental), H/O precipitation by some infection or unprotected sexual intercourse, Sec. Sexual Characters, Other symptoms suggestive of any infections. Masturbation habits & techniques of masturbation & other relevant history is taken.

EXAMINATION OF GENITALS

We examine whether Sexual Development is adequate or subnormal. For this testis size is measured by orchidometer. Then other systems are examined. Signs of urinary tract infection, any sexually transmitted diseases are examined.
